WHO IS AMMON HOLLISTER?
Ever since I was in middle school I have been singing classically, but my love of opera came when I did an internship at the Aspen Opera at 14 and I never looked back. My obsessions are with witty and fun comedic operas as well as music that blends different styles together.

I love so many different types of music from classical to jazz to sea shanties to throat singing to electronic, and I try to bring a diverse range into my pieces to breathe a different life into a centuries-old art form.

As a classical singer turned composer I often start my pieces from a singer's point of view. And as a lover of action and adventure genres, I try to keep my pieces quick, fun, upbeat and catchy.
